  • I encourage you to send me a brief message on my website or use my booking link to schedule a free 15-min phone consultation first. This way, you can share a little about what you’re hoping to explore in therapy, and I can answer any questions you may have.

  • A regular session rate is $158 per 50-minute individual therapy session.

Payment is required at the end of each session via e-transfer, wire, or credit card. Direct insurance billing is not offered. You will be provided with a receipt following treatment, which may be submitted for reimbursement through your insurance provider, or saved for tax purposes.

For expats residing outside of Canada, please contact me for more information about session fees and payment.

  • Psychotherapy services in Ontario are covered under extended health benefits through many employee or private insurance plans. Your insurance plan may offer full or partial reimbursement for sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist. Please contact your insurance provider directly to see whether Psychotherapy is included in your coverage.

  • Expat counselling works the same way that individual therapy does; however, it is important to note that my designation as a “registered psychotherapist” of Ontario, Canada may not be recognized by the regulatory body for psychology and psychotherapy in other countries.

The term “psychotherapy” is regulated differently across provinces, countries, and regions. While I am registered to practice the act of psychotherapy in Ontario, Canada, this credential may not be formally recognized by regulatory bodies in other parts of the world. As such, I may not meet the requirements to provide psychotherapy in your country or jurisdiction if I am not licensed there.

This also means that any counselling or therapy services I provide are likely not eligible for coverage under your local health insurance or benefits plan.

If you choose to work with me from outside Ontario, you do so with the understanding of the potential risks associated with your personal decision to engage in therapy with me. Please contact me to learn more.

  • I have a 24h cancellation policy. Partial or full session fees may apply when appointments are cancelled or missed (i.e., no show) with less than 24h notice.

The 24h notice allows another client to be booked in that time slot, which would not be feasible on shorter notice. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

  • My services are offered primarily online; however, in-person sessions may be available on a per-case basis.

In-person sessions are offered in the Yonge and Bloor area of Toronto, Ontario.

  • Sessions are held virtually via secure video platforms (e.g., Jane, MS Teams, or Zoom). Before your session, you will receive an email link in your inbox that will take you right into your appointment.

  • This can look different for everyone and is dependent on your individual needs and goals.

Each session is approximately 50 minutes. I recommend starting with weekly sessions to build momentum and then adjusting the pace as we get a better sense of what feels supportive for you.

It is important to note that psychotherapy research supports weekly or biweekly sessions as the most effective frequency for meaningful progress, especially in the early stages of treatment. Less frequent sessions are typically associated with slower progress, but this may still feel helpful as a kind of “container” for some.
