My Approach

My practice is rooted in a psychodynamic theory, and is shaped by curiosity, compassion and collaboration. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive space that respects and celebrates individual differences across culture, race, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

My approach is guided by trauma-informed, attachment-based, and humanistic principles. Keeping in mind your unique values, experiences, and needs, I draw on the following therapeutic modalities:

A desert landscape with small green bushes, patchy soil, distant hills, and a clear sky at dusk.
Sandstone cliffs with sparse vegetation at sunset, with a cat sitting on a ledge.
  • Psychodynamic (Relational and Existential)

  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

A scenic coastal landscape at sunset with rocky cliffs, calm water, and a sailboat in the distance.

In a space that is warm, respectful, and attuned to your pace, we will explore the thoughts, behaviours, and emotional patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. I believe that genuine trust, empathy, and respect within the therapeutic relationship are essential for meaningful growth and lasting change. Together, we will work to increase self-awareness, strengthen resilience and emotional regulation, as we move you toward a more connected and fulfilling life.
